$3000 Movie

D. gave me the only thing I wanted this Xmas - The 2007 5 Disc Blade Runner Box Set! However, I forgot that it was only available in HD-DVD format. WTF. Surely the set had at least one version of the Director's Cut as a regular DVD. -nope-  ... So I went online and started reading about all this HD and Blue Ray crap. Trying to find a simple answer about either is |||WAY F'ed UP!|||| All I wanted to know was if you could connect a HD-DVD ($200) player to a regular analog TV and how would it look, being that I have not yet bought an HDTV ($1200) and probably won't until next year. Most of the info I found said it was not possible. Who are these people? SCREW THEM! It works and the picture is quite nice!

Why is it always my responsibility to kill the spiders in the house? I mean really. I just got home, made a drink and sat down on the porch. Not two seconds pass and I get "There's a spider in the bathroom, come here quick!" I say "wait a minute" and write this post. Wonder if it is still there?
